Lotto Statistics

In my thirst to win the lotto, I got statistics from the archive of lotto results so that I can make a calculated bet. The research was in vain though, because there was no significant difference between the probability of the number with the lowest chance of winning to the probability of number with highest chance of winning.

The complete results can be seen here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pPSG_Dyv14VTDZ_L_MgrOXA

WordPress displays the ruby code incorrectly. You can look at the code here. What the code does is count the number of times a number is drawn and divide that number with the total number of draws of the chosen game type.

The archive of lotto results is provided by yehey.com.

I’ll wait for next year. I will bet if the statistics are still the same. :D

Unfortunately, the probability of winning for a specific number has nothing to do with past results – the lotto numbers have no memory.

LOL. Was that supposed to be funny? Because I laughed hard.

Anyway, the lotto numbers may not have memory but statistics has. It can tell us which of these numbers have a greater chance of being drawn.

Just my two cents on these lotto stuff. No offense meant. :D
