For the first time I encountered an ad in a Youtube video.

First, it show up like in the image above. It will occupy 1/5 of the player with the title, the description and the link to the ad.

After a while, it will minimize showing only the title the phrase ‘Ads by Google’ and the close button.

Pressing the close button will further minimize the ad into a button with a play sign and the word ‘Ad’.
Here’s the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUdWApwbudQ

YouOS is a web operating system that lets you run diverse applications within a web browser. Small applications like sticky notes or clocks. Large applications like word processing, mp3 players, and instant messaging. Even better, it’s very easy to tweak an existing application or write your own.
– YouOS Manifesto
The last entry in the YouOS blog was on October 16, 2006. I expected YouOS to be a great tool someday. But too bad that’s not gonna happen. And too bad to all those who wasn’t able to experience running an OS in your web browswer..

First time I used it on January 2007

Unsupported VisualBoyAdvance save game version 9 (Click to enlarge)
It happenned to me when I transferred my save states from an Ubuntu Linux laptop to a Windows laptop. The main reason for this is because the save states from my Ubuntu laptop was created by VisualBoyAdvance 1.8beta3 version and on the Windows laptop was VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.2.
To fix this just install the VisualBoyAdvance 1.8beta3 version
OR
If you want to use to still use whatever version of Visual Boy Advance you have in both laptops make sure that you save in-game and transfer the battery files instead.

Filipino is the standard language in the Philippines. It is expected that Ubuntu should support either Filipino or Tagalog. What is not expected is that Ubuntu also supports Filipino dialects such as Hiligaynon (Iloilo) and Cebuano (Cebu).

Hiligaynon

Ubuntu is a community developed, Linux-based operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. It contains all the applications you need – a web browser, presentation, document and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more.
